Chicago "Swing" Jam Session #22

The one-hour taster is a Lindy Hop musicality class with live music, led by Erik Tengholm, one of Sweden's most active and experienced musicians in the swing and blues scene. Explore how musicians think while playing, the roles of different instruments, and how swing and blues structures translate into dancing. Open level; some social dance experience is required. These evenings are especially dedicated to musicians: bring your instrument, join in, and request songs. The music is jazz, mostly around swing, but nothing is set in stone. The house band is Johan & The Two-Timing Tones of Tempo: Johan Tengholm on bass, Erik Tengholm on clavinet and trumpet, and Sakarias Larsson on drums. Dancing is welcome, or sit back, listen, and enjoy a beer. Alla som var med på "den" tiden minns väl syltklubben, en fantastisk jamklubb på Chicago och en föregångare till detta jam.
